New Beginnings

To all the friends of Frocca,
It’s been an amazing ride and my latest stint with entrepreneurship has taught me a lot. I have met a few amazing people who have been part of the team here and I’ve had an oppurtunity to test the potential of something I still believe will one day be big.
But now its time to try something different, radically different. I am moving to Auckland to further my education, and test my skills in a market that is truly new and exciting. I have enrolled for a Graduate course in Information Technology which will not only add an official stamp to my skills, but also give me the chance to interact with like minded professionals.
I assure you it will not be long before I’m back into action as part of something new and with that, I bid you adieu.

We went off the air for a while, but now we’re back. Loscreador.com has morphed from a wordpress blog to a full fledged community and looks spankin in its new avatar.
In our search for new interviewees for LC, we went in search of a community where we though web2 enthusiasts would hang out. We foudn some excellent blogs, etc but not a single community that was sustained beyond the initial launch. So once again, we said - why not?
I feel LC would be an excellent resource for us to network and get in touch with some amazing people. As a blog it has helped us a lot, now as a community I hope our readers can also make use of its networking benifits. We will be also happy to feature any of you who would want to share your comments/articles/thghts to the LC community, so feel free to buzz me on my LC page if you want in - Its here!

With cricket being a religion in India and the net just asking for one more cricket related site 
, we could not say no; now, could we? But we decided to do it with a difference - that being the “Indian Cricket League“. The ICL is a proposed million dollar tourney launched by one of the biggest media companies in India, the Essel group. Our website Cricket 247.in is by far the biggest and most comprehensive site dedicated to this league.
And now, Google thinks so too! Mrugesh, who is in charge of SEO at Frocca has managed to get Cricket24/7 to top the SERPS for the term “Indian Cricket League” in Google India search. We’re #3 in the global search, but that should change so too. The amazing thing, he did it in a month! I guess those late evenings and almost fanatical work pace does help! Kudos to him!

Los Creador has just cut a deal with the great guys at Spigit to become their interview partners. We will be featuring the founders of the top companies listed at spigit in the coming weeks. From some of the interviews already done, I can tell you its some fantastic reading. So stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated.
On the topic of Spigit, Frocca’s BIG idea there recently went into Emergence stage and our spocks have been rising rapidly. We’re also looking for believers to help us on our journey, so if what you see interests you, buzz me there - we’ll love to have you on board.

We’ve reached our first milestone of 15 interviews on Los Creador. It has been an enlightening journey till here and I can truly say that just the conversation with these founders makes it worth working on a site like this.
I’m sure LC along with its guests have inspired a lot of young entrepreneurs, but we want to take it one step forward now. Coming soon will be a new version of Los Creador with even more avenues for interaction between Creator and Reader.
It was apt that our interview # 15 was of Andrew, the founder of Advisor Garage, someone who is on the same mission as Los Creador, which is to connect entrepreneurs to someone who can advise, inspire and guide them.

Frocca’s big IDEA was launched on Spigit and its already working out to be a very useful networking tool for us. We’re getting some nice reviews and ratings there, plus being able to connect to some people who I believe will be extremely helpful in our onwards journey.
So what you waiting for? Get on the bandwagon and see for yourself whats this big idea!

Frocca’s BIG idea to be featured at Spigit Launch

For all who thought that Frocca only interviewed web 2.0 founders, here’s an eye opener - Frocca will reveal its own Web 2.0 idea - the one the company was built for on July 18th at Spigit. We have been seleted as one of the 25 companies to be featured at the Spigit launch.
Spigit has a very interesting concept wherin it relies on massive crowd participation and a proprietary simulation engine to determine which ideas, products, technologies and companies, emerge above the rest.
It will later also have a ‘Spock Market’ where members can trade shares in ideas and the companies listed.

Exclusive : Quotiki for sale!

The founders of Quotiki were the first people we interviewed for Los Creador. Now we’ve got some more news here. They’ve decided that their site needs some funding to grow, so are looking either for a partner or an outright sale of Quotiki.
“The idea would be take on an ownership partner to bring our marketing to the next level OR to outright sell the site. Our main goal is to find a way to keep the community alive for the members.” - Shawn
Lets see what happens what happens of this Web2.0 company with 500K visitors a month when they look for a buyer. Frocca and LC wish them best of luck.

Frocca - A Web 2.0 Company
Frocca is a newly launched Internet company with a focus on building User Communities and Web 2.0 content based sites. We are looking for people with an intrinsic love of the internet and learning. Frocca has just launched LosCreador.com which is a website that profiles web 2.0 creators and entrepreneurs.
Right now, we are looking for a web 2.0 programmer/developer to give life to our ideas and turn them into reality. Your job would include developing and coding our website in LAMP with AJAX and other technologies. If interested, please email me so that we can setup a meeting.

About the Company
Frocca is a Web 2.0 startup launched by Whiz Technologies. Our parent company deals in IT setup and maintenance under the Computer Troubleshooters brand. Though Frocca has been launched only recently, our relationship with Whiz Technologies gives us a solid financial backing.
